An affordable recipe tool is a real option
meez has public pricing and a self-serve entry plan. If your main task is maintaining a recipe library and checking portion costs, include it in your evaluation. A lower monthly bill alone does not tell you which tool will save time at the end of service.
Where GriddleMath fits
GriddleMath is built around the truck booking: what sold, what was prepped, what went in the bin, and what was comped. Cost recipes first, then combine those costs with sales and closeout quantities. You can review the same item across bookings and use prep and pricing recommendations for the next event.
Choose it when that daily loop is the job you need done. For recipe publishing, kitchen training, or other team needs, test those requirements separately. GriddleMath does not provide perpetual inventory, purchasing, payroll, or bookkeeping, and its margin excludes labor and other overhead.
Square import, shipped
Connect Square, map your locations and menu items, then import paid orders by webhook or pull a date range on demand. Sales feed your booking closeout, where you add recorded waste and comps to see the food-cost margin.
Checked September 21, 2026: the meez pricing page labels POS integrations “coming soon” in its comparison grid, but also lists POS integration under Enterprise. Confirm Square availability and plan requirements with meez; those statements do not establish whether its Square import is live.
Connect Square and import salesTry a booking you already know
Cost one dish using a recent invoice and a measured portion. Import a completed booking's sales, then record what you actually discarded and comped. Compare the recipe margin with the closeout result before deciding whether the workflow fits your truck.
